Good News and Bad News

The good news is that there is snow in the hills, as you can see in these pictures taken from my bedroom window.  The bad news is that it's not down here!  Where the heck is all the snow?!  It should be down here!  My mom says, "After Thanksgiving!"  I say, "Let it snow!  What do I care?!"  Mom says, "Hopefully not until after Thanksgiving."  Anyway, for now I'll have to be content with just staring at it, while it sits there, up in the hills.

The Number One Item

This item, the LongStrike CS-6, is the number one item on my Christmas list.  Please do not confuse it with its precursor the LongShot CS-6.  Just in case you're wondering, I think it's around thirty dollars.  It takes only stream-lined darts, which I have oodles of, and I Reeeeeeeeeeeaaaallly would like to get it, so if you haven't already done your Christmas shopping, keep it in mind.  :o)

I'm back

Just to let you all know, blueprints for the gun will not be available. Progress, in fact, has slowed considerably since Josh's appendix ruptured and had to be removed, but we might eventually continue construction. :o)

The Gun

My friend Josh and I are constructing our own custom made air-soft rifle.  Our parents know we're doing it, so don't freak out.  I know it sounds absurd, since we're starting from scratch and the only store-bought part will be the firing mechanism.  While Josh earns enough money to buy the firing mechanism and an assortment of other parts, I am constructing the barrel and collecting a vast array of options that can be used to construct it.  As always, we'll choose the sturdiest and least expensive way to do it.  This gun will be no ordinary one.  It will fire three shots at once, that will be held in little cylinders that - after firing - will be ejected out the side.  Now keep in mind that this is only an air-soft rifle, and it is expected to jam constantly.

When blueprints are available they'll be posted in a picture.

This Is Me

This is me.

In fact, it's me on my skateboard jumping over - yes, you're seeing it correctly - a couch cushion!

I got the skateboard for my birthday.  It's much better than my old one, which was a little worn out... a LOT worn out, in fact.

This picture was taken by my mom when she - for the first time - took me to the skateboard park.  By then I had been skateboarding for quite some time and she was able to get this pretty cool photo of me jumping over the couch cushion.  Usually my dad takes me, but he was working.
